Alexis is an experienced Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life and regain confidence in their movement. She joins the Pro Motion team after several years running her own practice, Stride Vestibular Physiotherapy.
Alexis has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance, with a strong emphasis on patient education. She believes that understanding what is happening in your body is an important part of the rehabilitation process. By taking the time to explain symptoms and treatment options, she helps patients feel informed, confident, and actively involved in their recovery.
Alexis completed her Master of Physical Therapy at McGill University and has pursued advanced post-graduate training in vestibular rehabilitation, including the Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency-Based course at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has also served as a lecturer in vestibular physiotherapy at the University of Calgary within the Section of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.
Outside of the clinic, Alexis enjoys hiking and spending time in the mountains, playing music, gardening, and travelling.
